Dedicated follower of fashion enjoying boom
Dedication to business has helped Suzie achieve a successful business for the past 12 years.

Meet Suzie Annear, the owner of 2nd Impression and a fashion enthusiast.
Relationship building is all important and Suzie has achieved this with commitment to honest and open communication with her customers.
Suzie shelved her fear of failure and just went for it, it’s so satisfying being able to help women find great quality up to date designer clothing for just a fraction of the buy new price tag, it’s always about that bargain.
The positive feed back and constant flow of very regular local and not so local customers shows that Suzie is doing something right.
The busy arcade business is home to racks of good quality second-hand women’s clothing, shoes and accessories.
“It got bigger so much quicker than I expected. I had always anticipated it being a lovely wee boutique shop.”
“I thought Timaru had gone long enough without good quality preloved fashionwear and we realised the community needed a good secondhand clothing story.”
“I just kept hearing there was a market for it so decided to open a shop.”
She said she had always loved a bargain and secondhand goods so opening 2nd Impression had been a good way to meet people
“I opened it in a small shop in Beswick St, in Timaru, and then I had so much it was falling off the shelves.

Her busy arcade business is home to racks of good quality second-hand women’s clothing, shoes and accessories.
She sells mostly designer and good quality label clothing as she said it was impossible to put a price on cheaper clothes.
“I try not to take things that are more than a couple of seasons old.”
‘’The rewarding part of coming to work every day is seeing the smile on the faces as the customers leave my shop more often than not walking out with a head to toe outfit at a fraction of the buy new cost’’
She also enjoys being in the arcade and would love to see more shops open in the historical building.
